NISD

The institute does not only study the crisis of employment, meaning and social adaptation — it builds practical mechanisms against it, Needed+ above all. Mari Letova studies here; Alexandra-Sofia Fischer teaches here. The main entrance is a pale stone plane carrying the large NISD lettering, flanked by tall blue glass facades.

The mark

A double-outlined shield; an open book becomes the trunk of a tree with five leaves, while three round figures and the branches form a human community. The book is education, the tree is continuous development, the three figures are mutual support and dignity.
